INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by Thurston PUD (District), located at 1230 Ruddell Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98503 until 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023, for the general contract for installing a nominal 106,000 gallon water reservoir, booster station and appurtenances and pressure reducing station.

Contractors may obtain the contract documents by requesting them from the District at doug.piehl@thurstonpud.org at no cost.
A certified or bank cashier’s check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.

The District shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

All applicants must have a Unique Entity ID to submit a bid including subs. The District is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates.

This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program with federal funds from the Environmental Protection Agency. DWSRF requirements and provisions must be met by Washington State licensed general contractors and all subcontractors.

Optional Pre-bid conferences will be held at 2 pm on Monday April 10, 2023. Location will be the existing pumphouse at Hawley Hills, located on the corner of 47th Ave NE and Deerfield Park Dr. NE, which lies across the street from 7125 47th Ave NE, Olympia WA 98516. Representatives of Thurston PUD will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.
