Hoffman/Sound Transit Subcontractor Outreach Event

Hoffman Construction Company of Washington has been selected as the General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for Sound Transit’s BRT Station’s, Shelters, Furnishings, and Systems. The project includes the install of various shelters and amenities, and upgrades at various existing transit centers. The project locations are spread out through three different transit lines that span from Burien – Bellevue – Bothell – Kenmore – Lynwood – Shoreline. Bid Package #2 is expected to be issued in October 2024. Scope of work & ROM values are anticipated to be as follows:

  • Bid Item #2A – Shelter and Pylon Install – $1.9M
  • Bid Item #2B – Miscellaneous Metals – $4.3M
  • Bid Item #2C – Concrete and Pavers – $2.4M
  • Bid Item #2D – Sitework – $424k
  • Bid Item #2E – Roofing and Demolition – $157k
  • Bid Item #2F – Painting and Coatings – $256k
  • Bid Item #2G – Plumbing – $300k
