Project Description:  The purpose of this Project is to enhance multimodal access and connectivity by improving transit connectivity, enhancing nonmotorized mobility, and improving freeway operations.  The enhancements and improvements shall encourage transit ridership and enhance rider experiences.  The Project’s critical improvements shall reconstruct the existing I-405 cloverleaf interchange into a new three-level interchange, construct a new Pick-Up/Drop-Off facility, reconstruct various intersections, and construct new nonmotorized transportation facilities for pedestrians, cyclist, and other active transportation users.  Project’s work shall be conducted and performed in such a manner as to minimize adverse impacts to the public while and maximize transparency and communication with local communities.

Subcontractor Opportunities Include:  engineering design, permit acquisition, utility relocation, soil nails, soldier pile, sawcutting, landscaping, traffic control, trucking, HMA & concrete paving, signage, guardrail, TESC, slope protection, demolition, rebar, earthwork, fencing, painting, sweeping, striping, drainage, electrical/intelligent transportation systems, and more.
