Installation of Fiber Optic drop ducts and fiber
NOTICE TO BIDDERS, HOOD CANAL COMMUNICATIONS (HCC), UNION, WASHINGTON LABOR FOR SERVICE DROP, UNDERGROUND FIBER INSTALLATION, BRINNON FTTH PROJECT SEALED BIDS, will be received for the labor only of installation of 18/14 underground conduit to residents and installation of fiber optic drop cables, at Hood Canal Communications, located at 300 E Dalby Rd, Union, WA 98592, P.O. Box 249 Union, WA 98592 until 10:00 A.M. on March 21, 2025.
Submitted bids will be opened publicly and read in HCC’s conference room, immediately thereafter. Sealed bids received after the specific opening time will not be accepted.
BID ITEMS will include: Labor of installation of underground conduits, fiber optic drop cables, and pedestals.

ALL BID PROPOSALS must be in writing, on forms furnished by HCC, placed in a sealed envelope with an indication on the front bottom left corner of said envelope, the project name and date of bid opening and then be filed with HCC on or before the day and hour above mentioned.
All proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier’s check, or Proposal bond payable to Hood Canal Communications in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of total proposal amount.
HCC assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statues, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any HCC program or activity.
HCC reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole, to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to contract in its best interest.
This project is partially funded by federal award number 53-08-I2209 (BIP NTIA) awarded to Washington State Broadband Office by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
