Summary: Benton County, Sundance Improvements Association, and Harms Engineering, Inc. are requesting bids for the general contract for construction of water system improvements in Finley, Washington. The Engineer will receive sealed bids at 1632 W Sylvester St, Pasco, WA 99301 until 2pm local time on the above Bid Date for the following project:
Description: Site and infrastructure improvements for Sundance Improvement Association water system, including well pumps, well house, storage tank, booster pumps, and distribution system. See bid documents for details.
Bid Documents: An electronic version of the bid documents may be obtained at no cost from Harms Engineering’s Plan Room at bids.harmsengineering.com. Printed documents are available, at bidder’s expense, by choosing the “Order Prints” option.
Bid security: A certified or bank cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to Sundance Improvements Association, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.
Rejection of Bids: Sundance Improvements Association shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.

All work performed on the project will be subject to the higher of prevailing state (Washington, Benton County) or federal (Davis-Bacon) wage rates. This project is funded in part by a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development and the Washington State Community Development Block Program (CDBG). All CDBG requirements must be met by the general contractor and all subcontractors, including the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41 USC Ch 83 (refer to Supplementary Conditions of Contract).
