Lake Washington School District No. 414 will receive sealed bids for the work associated with the 
Interior Renovations PH II at Redmond High School.  The project is located at 17272 NE 104th St, 
Redmond, WA 98052. The Base Bid estimate for this work is $505,000.

Bids Due:  2:00 pm, Thursday, April 27, 2023

An optional pre-bid conference for all General Contractors will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 
at 10:00 AM at Redmond High School, located at 17272 NE 104th St, Redmond, WA 98052.  All 
prospective general contractors are invited to attend the meeting.  The meeting will be immediately 
followed by a walkthrough of the building.

The Owner will receive sealed bids until 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 27, 2023. Bids shall be sealed 
and labeled:

Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.  All interested parties are invited to attend.  An 
abstract of the Base Bids and Alternate Bids, if any, will be made available to Bidders, upon 
request.

Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted.  It is the sole responsibility of 
Bidders to deliver their bid to the designated place at the designated time and on the forms 
provided in the Project Manual.  Oral, telephonic, faxed or telegraphic bids are invalid and will 
not receive consideration.

Bid and Contract Documents will be available for free electronic download via Lake Washington 
School District’s online procurement portal, Bonfire at.

All questions related to this solicitation shall be submitted via Bonfire by 5:00 PM April 19ᵗʰ, 
2023. Responses will be provided via addenda and available via Bonfire for all registered parties.

Bid Security, in an amount of 5% of the Bid, must accompany each bid, and shall be accompanied by a 
bid bond, cashier’s check or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total base bid, made 
payable to the Lake Washington School District No.414.

No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for bid opening thereof, or before award 
of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 calendar days.

Lake Washington School District No. 414 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any 
informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
