ITB PW ST-23-007 - 133rd Grid Rd. Extension and Roundabout Project
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Woodinville will receive electronic sealed bids via Public Purchase until 11 am local time on May 21, 2025 at which time bids will be electronically opened. Bids received late or by any other means will not be accepted. There will not be a physical public opening of bids as it is done electronically.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed is for a new intersection with the construction of a roundabout and pedestrian tunnel at the intersection of 133rd AVE NE at Woodinville Snohomish Road and Little Bear Creek Parkway. The project will include roadway, illumination, sidewalk, and shared use path improvements in various configurations, stormwater conveyance improvements, utility relocation/replacement, and other work all in accordance with the Contract plans, provisions, and standard specifications.
Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the Contract. Additional details of apprentice participation are identified in the Cover Letter and the Special Provisions. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs.
Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-line through two websites: Public Purchase (www.publicpurchase.com) and Builders Exchange of Washington (www.bxwa.com/).
For Builders Exchange: Go to the website. Click on “Posted Projects”; “Public Works”, “City of Woodinville, WA.” Bidders are encouraged to “Register as a Bidder”, in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the “Bidders List”. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at 425-258-1303 if you require further assistance.
For Public Purchase: Register for free by going to the website. Note that it may take up to 24 hours for newly registered accounts. Registration is a 2-step process. Step 1 is to register. Step 2 occurs after you receive an activation email from Public Purchase. You will have to log back in, click on the “Tools” tab then, on the “Agencies” tab. This will take you to the Agency search page. In the Agency name box type in “Agency Name”. Leave the “new Agency since” box blank. Make sure Registration Status says “ALL”. Click on “search”. This will bring up the Agency below. To the far right of it you will see “view” and “Register”. Click on the “Register” link to complete the supplier registration with the Agencies. If you do not select “Woodinville” you will not appear as a registered vendor and you will not be able to access this ITB or download bid attachments.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of cashier’s check, certified check, postal money order, or a surety bond to the City of Woodinville in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. An electronic copy of the bid deposit/bond must be uploaded with the full bid in Public Purchase, and the original bid deposit/bond either hand delivered or received by mail at Woodinville City Hall at 17301 133rd Avenue NE, Woodinville, WA 98072, Attn: Chista Kouretchian, no later than 4 pm on May 23rd.
