Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Whatcom County Purchasing at its Office in the Administrative Services Finance Department located on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

Jackson RoaD/Terrell creek bridge no. 81 replacement PROJECT– CRP No. 917004

UNTIL: 2:30 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020

At this time and place, proposals will be publicly opened and the names of the submitters identified. All respondents and any other interested persons are invited to be present. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities. Whatcom County encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.

Whatcom County Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified consultants for the Jackson Road/Terrell Creek Bridge No. 81 Replacement Project. Whatcom County will act in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for award.
