The Office of the Washington State Auditor has posted the RFQQ for solicitation K731-RFQQ-2406, Tribal Liaison Services to WEBS. Because it is estimated to be less than $150,000, SAO will give preference in the award of the contract to the highest scored responsive and responsible bid from a small business (as defined in RCW 39.26.010(22)(a) or veteran-owned business within the top 20% of total bid scores, unless none of these businesses are responsible and responsive to this solicitation.

Description

Contractor will assist SAO in complying with RCW 43.376 and engaging with Indian Tribes on relevant issues. Duties include providing technical support, acting as a liaison, organizing meetings, identifying Tribal leaders, and offering training for SAO staff on effective communication with Tribes. The contractor will also support audit teams on Tribal-related topics by reviewing documents for cultural relevance and facilitating connections with Tribal leaders.
