King County is seeking community members, business owners, and interested parties who are residents of King County to join our Priority Hire Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to advise the Priority Hire program’s performance in serving economically disadvantaged communities identified in the PH zip codes and the impact of our PH program on women-owned and minority-owned businesses and contractors, and open-shop contractors.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Advise on the Priority Hire program’s
performance in serving those represented in the
Priority Hire zip codes
Advise on the impact on small businesses and
contractors
Meet once a quarter for 1 hour - additional
support may be requested
Serve a 3-year term, up to 2 consecutive terms
