Kitsap PUD TEL-260579 George Lane Community Fiber Project
Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (Kitsap PUD) will receive sealed bid proposals for TEL-260579 George Lane Community Fiber Project on November 20, 2024, until 1:00 p.m., at the Kitsap PUD’s Office, 1431 Finn Hill Rd, Poulsbo, Washington 98370, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter. Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required for the installation of the Kitsap PUD Fiber Optic Infrastructure from State Hwy 305 NE along Sandy Hook Rd NE into the George Ln NE community to connect 33 residents with fiber to the home service. Project work includes installation of approximately 16,200 feet of total overhead, and approx. 5,200 feet mainline conduit and approximately 5000’ of service drops and other work all as indicated in the plans and specifications which can be found on the Kitsap PUD website https://www.kpud.org/about-us/vendors-bids/. All work performed on this project is subject to state prevailing wage rates. The Kitsap PUD is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is funded by Suquamish Tribe federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. Contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minority, and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. A 5% bid guarantee is required in the form of certified or cashier’s check, or surety bond. The Contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. Kitsap PUD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding in accordance with the specifications. Each Bid Proposal shall conform to the requirements of Section 1-02.9 of the Contract Special Provisions. Bids shall be made out on the bid form furnished with the specifications.
