RFP KT #24-923 Email and SMS Messaging Management

Kitsap Transit (KT) seeks a Vendor of a cloud-based communications management software that allows KT to operate a rider alert service for its customers. The software should be able to meet several requierments. High-level function requierments include:

1. Display a web-based form for the public to sign up for e-mail and SMS alerts for topics or bus routes.
2. Initiate automated alerts to subscribers when trips are canceled or delayed substantially.
3. Publish service alert feed to multiple channels, including social and agency website.
4. Allow KT staff to create and disseminate information manually from web or mobile app.
5. Text a number from a transit stop and receive real-time transit vehicle arrival information.
6. Back-end reporting at the account, list (route/topic), and subscriber level on key metrics.
7. Permission-based controls for user management and group management.
