NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids will be received by Kitsap Transit NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. November 16, 2022 and must be addressed as:

 IFB KT #22-801 POIT Shore Power Service

The project is located at the Kitsap Transit Passenger Ferry dock in Port Orchard, Washington also known as the Port Orchard Intermodal Terminal (POIT) (See Attachment A – Vicinity Map). Kitsap Transit requires maintenance and modification to various shore power pedestals on the dock (See Attachment C – POIT Drawing). The Contractor shall supply all of the labor, materials, and other incidentals needed to complete the scope of work in accordance with current marine electrical code and Attachment B – WSDOT Division 11 Electrical Systems. After installation, Contractor shall test and commission project with the Kitsap Transit Project Lead. Contractor shall complete all punch list items before acceptance of the project by Kitsap Transit.

Bidding Documents: Plans, specifications and addenda for this project are available on-line through Kitsap Transit’s Website www.kitsaptransit,com. Bidders must email Patrick Rogers at patrickr@kitsaptransit.com to be placed on the Plan Holder’s List in order to receive automatic email notifications of future addenda and additional project information through the bid phase. 

Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is being offered on November 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM. While attendance is not mandatory, all interested Contractors are advised to attend. Kitsap Transit staff will review the requirements of the solicitation and then Contractors will be able to walk the project site with Kitsap Transit staff.
