L2-2024 Cloquallum Communities Phase 1, 2, & 3 – Fiber Installation and Splicing Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT 3 OF MASON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, does hereby invite sealed proposals as described and in accordance with Bid Document No. L2-2024 Cloquallum Communities Phase 1, 2, & 3 –Lost Lake, Lake Arrowhead and Star Lake, Fiber Installation and Splicing Project, obtainable from the District upon request.

This project is funded by federal award number CPFFN0145 (ARPA Capital), granted to the Washington State Broadband Office by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The work on this project will be subject to prevailing wage rates, and all contractors must hold a valid business license in the State of Washington.

Proposals for this work must be sealed, marked Bid Document No. L2-2024 and filed with Purchasing Manager Jennifer Renecker at the District's office in Shelton, Washington, by 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will not be considered or accepted. At the time and place named below such bids will be opened and read, and the Commissioners will proceed to canvass the bids, and may let a contract to the lowest responsible Bidder or Bidders of the specifications.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS

Bona fide Bidders may request bidding documents from the District’s Purchasing Manager Jennifer Renecker, 2621 E Johns Prairie Rd., P. O. Box 2148, Shelton, Washington (360) 426-8255, email purchaser@masonpud3.org. Bidding documents may also be found on MRSC Roster Bonfire electronic bidding portal at https://mrscrosters.bonfirehub.com. Free vendor registration is required to use this platform.

BID SECURITY AND BONDS

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier’s check, or bid bond executed by a Washington State licensed surety company, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by such a bond or security.

REJECTION OF BIDS

The Commissioners reserve the unqualified right in their sole and absolute discretion to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid, which in their sole and absolute judgment will, under all circumstances, best serve the interest of the District.
