Project Description:
The Lake Stevens Historical Museum project is to construct an 8,643 square foot facility, consisting of three floors that will house three tenants, including the Museum. The other two tenants are to be determined. All tenant improvements will be under separate permits. The building shell is composed of wood framed walls, steel columns and beams, and a combination of single-ply membrane and standing seam metal roofing. The floors are open web joists with gypsum concrete topping. Interior walls are wood framed. All structural elements are to be 1-hour rated, and the project is targeting LEED Silver certification. Fire suppression, solar power generation, and steel-framed stairs are to be bidder designed.
