LEWIS-MASON-THURSTON AREA AGENCY ON AGING

Request for Proposals

A Request for Proposals (RFP) is being released by the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) for the following services in Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties in 2024:

1. Family Caregiver Support Program Services
   1. Family Caregiver Counseling Services
   2. Out-of-Home Respite Care
2. Kinship Services
   1. Family Caregiver Support Program-Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
   2. Kinship Caregiver Support Program
   3. Kinship Navigator Program

This procurement is a competitive process. Applicants may include for-profit, non-profit or governmental entities, or individuals working on a paid or volunteer basis, that meet the provider qualifications. The RFP requires applicants to provide a detailed description of the proposed budget or unit rate and mechanism for service delivery, specific details of the applicant’s experience, administrative structure, fiscal management and policies and procedures. Contracts are awarded on a state fiscal year basis, with an annual option to renew up to three (3) additional years, at the discretion of LMTAAA. 

The number of Applicants who will be selected to provide each service will vary based on the service. See individual service descriptions for details. Applicants may apply for more than one service and may apply to serve more than one county within the service area. The period of performance for contracts resulting from this RFP shall be July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with annual renewals for up to three additional years at the discretion of LMTAAA, upon satisfactory contract compliance and provision of services, and availability of funding.
