MADRONA K-8 BIORETENTION REPLACEMENT

Edmonds School District No. 15 is requesting bids for the Madrona K-8 Bioretention Replacement project, addressed to Devone Miles,
Purchasing Department at the Edmonds School District No. 15, Educational Services Center, 20420 68th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036-7400.
If any portion of a proposal is received after the time indicated and date specified, the proposal may not be considered. Sealed bids will be
accepted no later than June 3, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Edmonds School District Educational Services Center.
The subject project is described in the Contract Documents and generally consists of: removal and replacement of Bioretention Planter 2 within
the bus loop at the Madrona K-8 School.
Project documents may be obtained on or about Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Builder’s Exchange or ARC Plan center. Free-of-charge access to
project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going
to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", "Edmond School District", and "Projects Bidding". This online plan room
provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous
reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders "Register" to receive automatic e-mail notification
of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified
of the addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact the Builders Exchange of
Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration. The content available through bxwa.com is our property
or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Access to project documents is intended for
use by bidders (general contractors/prime bidders, subcontractors and suppliers), agency personnel and the agency's consultants, as well as for
personal, noncommercial, use by the public. You may display or print the content available for these uses only. "Harvesting" (downloading,
copying, and transmitting) of any project information and/or project documents for purposes of reselling and/or redistributing information by any
other party is not allowed by BXWA. Bid documents will also be made available by entering the public plan room with ARC Plan center at
www.E-Arc.com/Seattle .
Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form (Bid Form, Section 00 41 00). The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary
additional payment and performance bond(s), as prescribed in the Contract Documents.
The Edmonds School District encourages that the successful Bidder meet the District’s equity goals to utilize small, diverse, and veteran owned
businesses at a rate that meets or exceeds Washington State guidelines. The district encourages a diverse project team, including those certified
or registered as a WBE, MBE, SBE, DBE or Veteran owned business enterprise. A Community Outreach event for contractors will be held on
May 7, 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Edmonds School District, Educational Services Center.
A voluntary pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the site of Madrona K-8 School (9300 236th St SW
Edmonds, WA 98020). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason, to waive informalities and irregularities, to
reject any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the project documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time
not greater than 30 days from the date bids are due.
