PUBLIC NOTICE - INVITATION TO BID (ITB)

MAIN STREET JANITORIAL SERVICES

Project No. 2021-2

Vancouver Housing Authority (Owner) will receive sealed bids for Project# 2021-2 MAIN STREET JANITORIAL SERVICES, 10AM on February 1ST, 2021 at Vancouver Housing Authority, 2500 Main Street Vancouver, WA 98660 as per the solicitation documents, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud as per the solicitation documents; any bid received after this date and time will not be accepted.

 

SUMMARY OF WORK

Work includes, but is not limited to routine cleaning of our administrative offices located at 2500 Main Street, Vancouver, WA 98660.

 

CONTRACT DURATION

The resulting contract shall be for five (5) years, with an option to extend for five (5) additional years.

  • Bidders are responsible for checking for any addenda, updates and award notification at http://vhausa.org/business/bids‐rpfs
  • This project is subject to public works prevailing wage law and requirements as stated in the solicitation documents. This includes but is not limited to: obtaining a contract retainage bond; and filing certified payrolls, Intents and Affidavits with L&I.
  • Bidder shall include a bid bond equivalent to 5% of the bid price.

PRE-BID MEETING

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, pre-bid site meetings and walkthroughs will be scheduled individually with any prospective bidder as stated in the solicitation documents. There will be no questions answered at the walkthrough; all questions must be emailed to Ellen Ciufo (eciufo@vhausa.com). Contact the Solicitation Contact prior to January 15th 2021 if interested in scheduling a walkthrough. Walkthroughs will not be held after January 17th.

 

Attention is called to provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of the Invitation To Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any, and all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the Owner.
