Maplewood Creek and Madsen Creek Sediment Basin Cleaning Project 2019

Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, at the City Clerk's office, 7^th floor and will be opened and publicly read in Conference Room #511 on the 5^th floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton WA 98057, for the Maplewood Creek and Madsen Creek Sediment Basin Cleaning Project 2019.

The work to be performed within 25 working days from the date of commencement under this contract shall include, but not be limited to: Removing accumulated sediment from the Maplewood Creek Sediment Basin and Madsen Creek Sediment Basin approximately 1,000 cubic yards from each basin. Other works include constructing a flow bypass dam and diverting each creek into an existing bypass pipe, hauling and disposing of the sediment off-site, removing and adjusting rock berms, restoring flow to the sediment basin and removing the bypass dam, vegetation and channel maintenance in the Maplewood channel, restoration, hydroseeding and cleanup at each basin.

The Contractor will need to comply with the requirements of the Washington State Hydraulic Project Approval, and Army Corps of Engineers Nationwide Permits.

The estimated project cost is $110,000 to $160,000.

The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all informalities.

A certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of each bid must accompany each bid.
