PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Multicultural Village (MCV) TOD project is a six-story, mixed-use, multifamily development adjacent to the Kent-Des Moines Light Rail Station, between 234th and 236th St, on the East side of Pacific Highway S. The project consists of one story of type I-A construction, including structured parking, non-residential uses, and lobby space. Levels 2-6 are Type V-A construction, containing 233 affordable residential units, and amenity space. A ground-level plaza occupies the Southern edge of the site, adjacent to the Sound Transit Light Rail Station. Outdoor resident amenity is located on level 2.

PROJECT SCHEDULE: Start Project Construction: September 2025. Construction duration is expected to be approximately 28 months.

WMBE / SECTION 3: WCC actively encourages participation of Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBEs) as well as Section 3 Firms on this project. WMBE and Section 3 subcontractors are strongly encouraged to submit bids.

PREVAILING WAGES: Please note: this project is subject to WA State Commercial Prevailing Wage Rates, dated 6/13/25.
