PROJECT DESCRIPTION: |
This project includes haul-out and repair work for the Washington State Parks & Recreation Commission’s 75-foot landing craft vessel Thunderbird. Base bid work to be performed includes structure renewal; preparation and painting of all steel surfaces; and steel work including plating and stiffeners. Additional alternative bid items include mechanical systems evaluation and repair; steelwork; winch and anchor maintenance and repair. |

The project will be located at the Contractor’s shipyard or drydock facility within Puget Sound. |

Bidder Responsibility will be evaluated for this project. In determining bidder responsibility, the Owner shall consider an overall accounting of the criteria set forth in Division 00 – Instructions To Bidders. Please direct questions regarding this subject to the office of the Engineer.
