NORTHSHORE SCHOOL DISTRICT
SMALL WORKS ROSTER
R.C.W. 39.04.151, Small Works Roster process, and R.C.W. 28A.335.190, commonly known as the Public School Bid Law, enable school districts to establish and administer their own Small Works Roster of qualified contractors who wish to receive bidding information and be considered for performing work on public works projects estimated to cost less than three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000). In order for contractors to qualify for Northshore School District’s Small Works Roster, the following requirements must be met:
- Hold a Washington State Contractor’s License
- Pay prevailing wage rates in compliance with RCW. 39.12.
- Ability to provide Certificate of Insurance prior to beginning any work.
- Ability to provide a Performance & Payment Bond in compliance with RCW 39.08 prior to beginning any work over $5,000.
- Meet the responsible bidder criteria found in RCW 39.04.350
- Comply with federal, state and local laws regarding non-discrimination and affirmative action.
Interested contractors wishing to be placed on the District's Small Works Roster for building, improvement, repair, or other public works projects are invited to submit a completed on-line application found at https://www.nsd.org/our-district/departments/business-services/purchasing/small-works-roster-application.
