Notice: BEX V Capital Levy Modernization, Addition and Replacement Projects

Until: July 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

Seattle Public Schools (the District) is requesting proposals from pre-qualified Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firms interested in providing professional design and construction oversight services for two (2) school projects identified in Seattle Public Schools Building Excellence (BEX) V Capital Levy. Required services will include:

  • preparation of a site-specific educational specification document;
  • analysis of existing conditions including site-specific energies – solar, wind, water, micro-climates, traffic, etc.; and,
  • preparation of design, permitting and construction contract documents, and construction administration and oversight activities.

The District intends to immediately engage with interested pre-qualified A&E firms with appropriate civil, landscape, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and cost estimating capabilities as needed to complete the identified projects. Seattle Public Schools remains consistent with RCW 39.80.040.
