Pierce County (County) and the Pierce County Community Development Corporation (CDC) have made available approximately $2,926,406 from the SHB 2060 Affordable Housing Program and the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program respectively to support the development and preservation of affordable housing in Pierce County.

Eligible applicants include qualified non-profit or for-profit developers and/or operators of affordable housing; cities or towns; and Community Housing Development Organization’s (CHDO’s). Applicants can utilize funding for Capital Projects to acquire, construct and/or rehabilitate affordable rental or homeownership housing; or for Operating and Maintenance Projects to provide support for existing affordable rental housing.

All projects receiving funding must serve low, very-low and extremely low-income households in Pierce County.
