Owl Creek Restoration Project - Rock and Construction Support

Trout Unlimited is seeking qualified contractors to furnish materials for constructing, transporting, and staging rock collars, while also furnishing hardware, assembling, and staging wood racking bundles for the Owl Creek Restoration Project Phase II.

Project Construction and restoration activities are scheduled for summer 2025 with installation of ELJs within stream reaches according to design via helicopter placement during an in-water work window from Sept 15th to October 31st, 2025. 

 

Items which are not included in this scope are wood, logs, and slash material, which shall be procured and staged under a separate contract. Installing logs and rock collars for engineered logjams (ELJs) will be accomplished by helicopter and is also not part of this RFP scope.

 

Scope includes: Temporary Access and Staging, Rock Acquisition and Rock Collar Assembly, Racking Bundles, Materials Management and Traffic Control during Flight Time for Maple Bar Staging Area and Nearby Roadways 

The project is located on the westside of the Olympic Peninsula in northwest Washington State.
