Project Summary:
The Town of Twisp currently proposed to Department of Commerce to install a 50.43 kW DC photovoltaic system on metal standing seam roof with flush mount racking and a ballasted system on a membrane roof. In addition to the PV system, the town proposed to install a 125kW/880kwhs BESS with isolation transformer on a concrete pad on an adjacent parking lot. From that BESS location in the parking lot, 130 ft of trenching and street restoration will connect the output to the main electrical room in the NE corner of the Town Hall Building. Interconnection of the BESS will be made in an AC aggregation panel, as well as the PV output and existing 150kVA generator. The output of the AC aggregation panel will connect to a grid isolation device and then the main point of interconnection will be via taps in the MDP.
