P21002: N 8th Ave and Simons Street - City of Ridgefield, WA

The City of Ridgefield is seeking bids from highly qualified contractors to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials for the improvement of North Simons Street with water system improvements and the addition of a new stormwater system and sidewalk, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
The Work shall be fully complete within 45 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed.

This project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and Housing and Urban Development.

Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents.

The City must advertise in its official newspaper source, The Columbian, its trade source for additional exposure, the Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC), and one or more minority newspaper sources, Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE). Bid packages may be viewed and downloaded via the City’s e-Procurement Portal at Bidders are required to register for a free account via the City’s e-Procurement Portal hosted by OpenGov Procurement. Once bidder has completed registration, you will receive addenda notifications to your email by clicking “Follow” on this project. All project or contract language specific questions, requests for substitutions or changes, or requests for clarification must be submitted via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, located at by 4:00 p.m. on 8/8/2022. Incomplete or late inquiries may not be considered.

Electronic sealed bids must be received by the City through the City’s e-Procurement Portal located at later than 4:00 PM (Pacific Time) 8/22/2022. Submissions received after the specified time will not be accepted. The City’s e-Procurement Portal Clock is the official clock for the determination of all deadline dates and times. Without exception, responses will not be accepted after the submission deadline regardless of any technical difficulties such as poor internet connections. The City strongly recommends completing your response well ahead of the deadline. Bids received by fax or E-mail will not be accepted.
