INVITATION TO BID Project: Port of Seattle – Concourse C Temporary Air Handling Units Bid Due Date: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 @ 2:00 pm Estimated Contract Value: $2,000,000.00 PCL encourages bids from all subcontractors and suppliers including Minority, Women-Owned, Veteran, Disabled Veteran, Disadvantage Business Enterprises, and Small Business Enterprise firms for all scopes of work, portions thereof, or combinations thereof. WMBE utilization goal of 6%, self-certification is acceptable. Description of Work: Project consist of installing two (2) variable air volume air handling units located on Concourse C roof to serve future tenant spaces. Demolition, roof openings, supports, curbs, roof walk pads with ramps, access, electrical and fire alarm services shall be provided to for complete installation. Air handling unit’s components include supply fan, variable frequency drive, hot water heating coil, chilled water-cooling coil, filters, and economizer. Existing chilled water, heating water, fire sprinkler services, electrical, and fire alarm systems will be extended to air handling units. A booster pump will be provided for chilled water service. Port standard DDC control (Siemens) will be provided for air handling unit and pump controls. Terminal units with heating coils and DDC controls to be provided by future tenants. Subcontractor/supplier opportunities include (but not limited to): Demolition, structural steel, rough carpentry, drywall, painting, fire protection, mechanical. This project has prevailing wage rate requirements.
