NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the SR164 Pussyfoot Creek 6” Pipeline Relocation Project will be received at the City of Enumclaw Public Works Office, 1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022 until 10:00 a.m. on Friday September 13, 2019. Bids will be opened, read, and tabulated immediately following. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond, payable to the City of Enumclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid.
The scope of the project includes multiple hot taps, stopples, abandoning an existing 6” steel gas pipeline and installing a new 6” steel gas pipeline via Horizontal Directional Drilling techniques and maintaining system pressure and flow. Additionally an existing 6” ball valve and valve pit will need to be removed and replaced with a new 6” ball valve and valve pit. An above grade 6” steel temporary bypass will be installed and utilized while work on the replacement valve and valve pit is being completed. The pipeline is a single source of supply operated at 250 Psi and has a peak demands of 339 Mcf/hr.

The estimated cost of the project is $939,400.00

A non-mandatory, but recommended, pre-bid on-site visit at the project site is scheduled for August 27, 2019

The Contract Documents for the above project may be examined at the Owner’s office at 2041 Railroad St, Enumclaw, WA 98022 on working days, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Owner may be reached by phone at 360-615-5787 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Written questions regarding the project may be directed to Ed Hawthorne at ehawthorne@ci.enumclaw.wa.us. No response will be made to questions unless they are submitted in writing. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on “Posted Projects”, “Public Works”, and “City of Enumclaw”. Bidders must “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List”.
