CALL FOR BIDS
PORT OF CAMAS - WASHOUGAL – BUILDING #20
Notice is hereby given that the Port of Camas-Washougal will be receiving bids for the development of Building #20, located in the Steigerwald Commerce Center, Washougal Washington. The project will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: the construction of a 49,500-square foot (footprint) pre-manufactured metal building along with the requisite site, utility, and landscape improvements. The General Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to construct the project, including concrete work, metals, wood, thermal and moisture control, doors and windows, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and incidental related work. NOTE: This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.

All bids must be sealed and received at the Port office by 11:00am, on August 17, 2021, located at 24 South A Street, Washougal, WA 98671. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:00am, on August 17, 2021, at the Port offices. Contract will be awarded based on lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The Port of Camas-Washougal reserves the right to accept or reject all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn or canceled by the bidder for a period of 90 days following the bid opening.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at 3:00pm, on July 15, 2021 at the Port Office located at 24 South A Street, Washougal, WA 98671. The Architect and Port Representatives will attend the meeting to discuss the scope of the project.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. Surety company(s) must be listed on the Circular 570 (Department of the Treasury’s Listing of Approved Sureties). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, with surety acceptable to the Port of Camas-Washougal, for 100% of the contract price. All contractors must file and comply with the prevailing wage laws of the State of Washington and pay all associated fees. The Port will comply with the statutory retainage requirements for public works contracts.
