BID NOTICE

The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma will receive sealed bids for Bid# J2020-05, Pt. Defiance Waterfront Phase 1 Signage, at the office of Planning, Design & Development, 4702 S 19th Street, Tacoma WA 98405 until 3:00 PM, February 26, 2020. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 3:05 PM.
Bids received after the appointed time set for receipt will be returned unopened.

The project includes, but is not limited to, new signage, interpretive, and wayfinding for the park, plaza, and the new trail to Point Defiance Park.

Prevailing Wage Rate requirements and the Metro Parks Tacoma Apprenticeship Training Program requirements will apply; 134 apprentice hours are estimated for this project.

The base bid estimate range is $275,000 - $300,000. Time of completion is Eight Months.

Type of Contract: Bid-Build

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Pavilion on Dune Peninsula, 5361 Yacht Club Road, Tacoma, WA 98407 on February 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to the pre-bid conference.

Minority & Women Owned Enterprises (MWBE) participation will apply.
Metro Parks Tacoma encourages an MWBE goal of eight percent (8%) on all Public Works projects ESTIMATED AT $20,000.00 OR MORE, including Subcontractors.
