Redmond Central Connector Phase III

  • Construction of approximately 1.6 miles regional trail along the former Burlington Northern Railroad corridor from the 9900 Block of Willows Road NE to NE 124th Street.
  • The trail will generally consist of a 12-foot wide paved (hot mixed asphalt pavement) trail with 2-foot gravel shoulder along the west side and 3-foot gravel shoulder along the east side.
  • Grading and installation of storm drainage facilities.
  • Install raised trail crossing and associated improvements at driveway crossings.
  • Intersection improvements at 9900 Block, NE 100th Court, NE 102nd Street, NE 116th Street, and NE 124th Street (curb ramps, curb and gutter, pavement restoration, hardscape/landscape features, and pavement marking).
  • Roadway reconstruction at NE 116th Street.
  • New pedestrian traffic signal at 9900 Block and NE 100th Court.
  • Pedestrian traffic signal modifications at NE 124th Street.
  • Traffic signal modifications at NE 102nd Street and NE 116th Street.
  • New illumination system along the trail from 9900 Block to NE 124th Street.
  • Installation of landscape and urban design improvements.
  • Wetland and stream mitigation.
  • And other work necessary to complete the Project.

The Engineer’s Estimate for this work is $3,800,000 to $4,200,000.
