Utility Tunnels: Repair Tunnel Lid at Holland and Gyms – Rogers Field

Sealed bids are being requested by the Board of Regents of Washington State University, for the above referenced project.
Project Scope:
This project includes the removal and replacement of the concrete utility tunnel lid structure at two locations on the Pullman Campus. Additional scope includes asbestos insulation abatement and condensate pipe replacement. Project must be substantially complete by August 14, 2020 with above ground construction activities starting no sooner than May 11, 2020. Below ground prep work within the tunnel and asbestos abatement can begin prior to March 11, 2020 if coordinated with WSU Construction Manager. Proposals MUST BE based on these Contract Time and constraints.
Project Physical address: The first location is along Glen Terrell Mall just south of Holland Library and the second location is along the sidewalk between Smith Gym and Rogers Field.
Bid Estimate: $725,000.00
Bids will be received prior to 2:00 p.m.; Thursday, March 26, 2020at Facilities Services, McCluskey Services Building, 2425 East Grimes Way, Pullman, WA 99164-1150. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud in room 190D, McCluskey Services Building.
A mandatory pre-bid conference for general contractors will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at McCluskey Services Building, Room 190D.
Parking on campus is enforced 24 hours a day, every day. It is bidder’s responsibility to obtain parking permits to attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid openings. Daily permit rates may be found at: http://transportation.wsu.edu/TempFees.html. Identify the meeting and project when obtaining the permit to receive appropriate rates.
