The King County Executive Climate Office, in partnership with Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties, is requesting applications from qualified firms to apply for the Multifamily Decarbonization Program Administrator – Electrification, Weatherization, Benchmarking, and Technical Assistance to support the decarbonization and energy efficiency of multifamily affordable housing in the Puget Sound region, and provide workforce development opportunities in partnership with the King County Jumpstart Program and workforce boards in partner counties.

- Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing (NOAH) Program Administrator: The Program Administrator will work with the King County team to identify and decarbonize unsubsidized affordable housing in the four target counties through direct building installations and weatherization services. The Administrator will work to implement workforce development components of the program through the Jumpstart model.
- Benchmarking Contractor: This contractor will provide energy benchmarking services to both subsidized and unsubsidized affordable housing buildings to help identify opportunities for improvements in energy efficiency and reductions in carbon emissions.
- Technical Assistance Contractor: This contractor will perform robust technical assistance to a subset of buildings to support full building decarbonization with regional financing programs.
Applications are now open. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the informational webinar on April 9th and direct any questions to CPRG@KingCounty.gov. Applications close April 30th.
