PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project includes a remodel and addition to expand the emergency department and support spaces at Columbia Basin Hospital. The existing ED is to receive an addition to the south, followed by the remodel of existing interior spaces. The project is being delivered via Washington State’s GC/CM Program for Public District Hospitals and is subject to RCW 39.10, all applicable codes and standards including prevailing wage and project close-out requirements. Project phasing will be required to maintain patient services during construction.
Sealed bids must be received by Cheryl Bodi, Columbia Basin Hospital at 200 Nat Washington Way Ephrata, WA no later than Thursday, Nov 16th, 2023 at 1pm. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter. All Bids shall remain valid for a period of 60 calendar days.

A bid bond payable to Belsaas & Smith Construction, Inc. in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount shall accompany base bids exceeding $300,000.
All bids and qualifications will be received and evaluated. Grant County Public Hospital District No. 3, Owner may reject any bid at its discretion and waive technicalities or irregularities. OAC Services, the Owner’s Representative and Belsaas & Smith Construction, Inc. may request clarification or confirmation of information submitted, and additional information from bidders to determine the ability of the Bidder to perform the work. After careful consideration of all bids and factors, the award will be offered to the bidder that best serves the interest of the Project Owner.
