Request for Cost Proposals - Geotechnical Report for the Oroville Housing Authority
The Oroville Housing Authority (OHA) requests proposals to provide a Geotechnical Report for the property listed below.
A. Statement of Work:
The Consultant shall: prepare a Geotechnical Report for each property listed, in accordance with applicable regulations (Such as ASTM standards)
The Report must include the following:
• Existence of arsenic, lead or any other toxic chemicals in the soil, per Department of Ecology request.
• Excavation log and tests of the soils encountered in 6 test pits (Site is sloped, would prefer 3 samples from higher elevation and 3 from lower elevation)
• Recommended minimum footing depth and width and any over-excavation and fill
• Soil bearing capacity and recommendations.
• Soil drainage and infiltration information and recommendations
• Parking lot site preparation and paving recommendations (We need to assume large trucks and buses will be using the driveways and parking on-site)
• Ground water presence.
• Estimated frost penetration.
• Recommended footing trench preparation.
• Structural fill recommendations.
• Seismic zone information.
• Slab on grade recommendations.
• Liquefaction potential and mitigation measures
• Depth to groundwater.
• Storm water disposal alternatives.

The Consultant shall provide a Land Geotechnical Report for the following property:

The Office of Rural and Farmworker Housing will furnish all location and quantity information required for purposes of completing this proposal.
PROPOSAL DEADLINE:
Proposals must be received prior to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, on May 13th, 2022
Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted.
