Long-Term Care & Aging

Snohomish County is soliciting responses from organizations to procure one (1) service provider to deliver Legal Services to persons aged 60 and over who are residents of Snohomish County. The Legal Services program assists older persons in advocating for their rights, benefits, and entitlements. Services in non-criminal matters will be provided by attorneys, paralegal and other staff and range from legal advice and drafting of simple documents to representation in complex litigation.

The County expects to award one (1) successful RFP candidate to serve all Snohomish County for up to $143,162. Funding amount is subject to appropriation and there is no guarantee of funding. The contract start date is January 1, 2025.

Snohomish County Long-Term Care and Aging developed the Request for Proposal (RFP) describing the schedule, scope of work, qualification requirements, and instructions for completing the RFP. A mandatory Letter of Intent to apply for the RFP must be submitted Monday, October 7, 2024, by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Organizations not submitting a letter of intent by due date and time will forfeit their right to apply for RFP. Letters of Intent to apply for RFP are to be submitted via e-mail with subject line “RFP Legal Services” to: SHS-SpecialProjects@co.snohomish.wa.us.

Deadline for submitting a mandatory Letter of Intent is Monday, October 7, 2024, by 4:00 p.m. PST.
