Request for Proposal No. RFP072502: GCCM John Marshall Interim Site Modernization and Additions Project

The Seattle School District No. 1 (District) is soliciting qualifications and proposals from experienced firms for Pre-Construction and Construction services for the John Marshall School - Interim Site Modernization and Additions project.  The District intends to award a contract utilizing an alternative construction procurement (GC/CM) process authorized under the Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 39.10. This is STEP 1 in the competitive selection process required by the statutory procedure to select a General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the project. The District has obtained specific project approval from the Washington State Capital Projects Advisory Review Board (CPARB) Project Review Committee (PRC) to utilize the GC/CM delivery method on the Project.

Proposal Submission Deadline: September 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.

The Request for Proposal will be available starting on August 12, 2025 at Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc. RFP documents associated addenda and Bidders List are available at no charge at the Builders Exchange, Inc. on-line Plan Center (www.bxwa.com).  To access documents on-line with Builders Exchange, go to “bxwa.com” and click on “Posted Projects,” “Public Works,” and “Seattle Public Schools” and “Projects Bidding”. It is recommended that bidders “Register as a Bidder” in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda, to download addenda, and to be placed on the “Bidders List.”  Proposers who do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued for this project.
