Request for Proposal (RFP) 2025-0806 Point of Sale Cashiering System
The Health Department is requesting proposals for a point-of-sale cashiering system. The desired solution must allow for complete integration of processing functions without duplicate data entry and be able to interface with the Health Department’s numerous applications.
We will implement the point-of-sale system in the Health Department’s Environmental Health and Administrative Services Divisions and explore expanding use in our clinic services within the Strengthening Families Division. The Health Department completes approximately 50,000 in-person transactions a year. Transactions include applications and payments for food worker cards, food establishment permits, schools, pools, onsite septic designs, remodels and decommissions, birth and death certificates and payments for clinical services.
