Request for Proposals for Instructors

In September 2022, Apprenti received a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce (Good Jobs Challenge) to expand tech apprenticeships nationwide.

Throughout the grant term and beyond, Apprenti aims to address the tech talent shortage and diversity needs by collaborating with employers to place 2,000+ apprentices in high-demand Cybersecurity and Cloud-related roles across the country.

Registered Apprenticeship includes structured on-the-job training (OJT) with an employer and related technical instruction (RTI), delivered by highly skilled instructors. Typically, the RTI is provided before OJT to equip apprentices with the necessary theory and technical skills for success. Apprentices (no technical background required) undergo intensive, full-time RTI for 36-40 hours per week over a period of 2-5 months, depending on the job role.

Apprenti is currently recruiting highly skilled technical instructors for full or part-time delivery of RTI in Software Development, Cybersecurity Analyst, Data Analyst, and Cloud Operations. Instructors will receive a pay rate of $60-$75 per hour, depending on experience. Please provide information about your current capabilities and your experience instructing in the occupations listed above.
