Request for Proposals: Understanding Equity Implications of Market Transformation in Rural Areas

NEEA is seeking qualified contractors or teams of contractors to conduct research to improve our understanding of the characteristics of rural, suburban, and urban markets to identify market transformation strategies that will accelerate the delivery of program benefits to rural markets. Beginning in 2025, NEEA will be actively looking to increase our knowledge and identify opportunities to bring an equity lens to our market transformation work. This research project intends to build a foundation for these upcoming efforts.

The selected contractor for this research project is expected to collaborate closely with NEEA staff and Sr. Manager of Market Research and Evaluation, as the refinement of the scope will require effort from all parties and seamless coordination on planned research activities.

NEEA encourages bidders to put forward cost-effective and creative ideas and innovative methods to meet the research objective. Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method approaches are all acceptable. All correspondence should be directed to Amy Webb, Sr. Manager of Market Research and Evaluation (awebb@neea.org). Intent to respond forms are due June 20, 2024, and proposals are due July 12, 2024.
