Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County (KPUD) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for as-needed/on-call consulting services relating to special inspections services. The consultant(s) will provide a variety of on-call special inspections services to the KPUD relating to telecommunication/broadband projects, water, and wastewater system projects. The services may include, but are not limited to, special and construction inspection, laboratory testing, and related services. The successful consultant shall be an expert in the area of special inspections. The chosen firm(s) will enter into an initial two (2) year term agreement with the option (based on mutual Agreement) to renew for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms upon KPUD Board approval. The maximum total compensation payable for services authorized under this Agreement will not exceed $200,000 for the duration of the Agreement, unless modified by a supplemental Agreement; however, there is no guarantee that all funds will be expended. To be considered for on-call work under this RFP/Q, on the date/time that proposals are due, all consultants and subconsultants must be registered with SAM.Gov and not be excluded from receiving federal funds using the System for Award Management (2 CFR § 200.214). This RFP/Q does not commit the KPUD to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal for this request, or to procure or contract for services.
