REQUEST FOR QUALIICATIONS – Heavy Civil GCCM Audubon Elementary Traffic Improvements – RFQ 23-2448
The Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is accepting proposals from Heavy Civil GC/CM firms to:
• Embrace an integrated project team model that includes LWSD, the contracted architect, OAC Services (construction management), specialty consultants, the contractor, and key subcontractors. The team focus throughout is on the best interest of the project.
• Provide high quality pre-construction consulting services including accurate cost estimating, efficiency/effectiveness ideas that result in cost savings in the design and construction process and the operation of the final product, detailed scheduling, constructability, phasing, logistics, collaboration with the design consultants, assistance in the selection of materials and building systems.
• Provide integrated use of current design and construction technology including Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design and Construction to help maximize construction efficiency, limit waste and avoid re-work.
• Integrate with LWSD document and workflow management systems, including web-based collaboration tools to streamline typical project workflows and document controls.
• Assist LWSD in establishing and achieving high performance design and construction goals including the delivery of efficient and effective facilities.
• Develop strategic procurement plans to maximize competition for materials and subcontracts.
• Solicit and manage subcontractor and supplier bidding to obtain competitive pricing from high quality subcontractors and vendors.
• Provide high quality construction services to deliver a quality project, safely, on time and under budget.
• Perform Value Engineering and Constructability Reviews.
Three (3) bound original copies and one PDF copy of the completed submittal must be received by the Lake Washington School District No. 414 (the “District”) up to, but not later than, 3:00 P.M., April 12, 2023.
Each response shall be in accordance with the specifications and documents now on file in Bonfire. Interested parties must register with Bonfire to view and download RFQ documents.
