SUMMARY OF WORK:

The Work to be performed under these Contract Documents consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of Farm 3 & Farm 4 Winter Storage Lagoons as described in the Construction Drawings and Specifications. This work shall include but not be limited to all demolition, earthwork, civil, mechanical, structural, landscaping, andelectrical work as shown in the drawings. Work includes re-routing of existing waterlines; excavation and dam embankment construction; HDPE liner system along with a geotextile fabric and associated anchoring; inlet/outlet piping and connection to existing distribution system; dam embankment leak detection system(s); perimeter security chain link fence complete with gates, cable and post system, meter and valve vaults, concrete equipment pads, pump barge concrete pad, deadman anchor blocks. Contractor shall also install a concrete spillway on Farm 3 lagoon. Contractor shall provide storm water pollution prevention plan. Contractor shall include all electrical improvements, including but not be limited to standby generators, switch gear, lighting, motor control centers, and control panels as indicated in the project drawings and specifications to complete the job. Contractor shall also coordinate with the pump barge supplier to install the pump barge in its final location shown in the drawings, complete all mechanical and electrical connections, and assist with startup and commissioning in coordination with the pump barge supplier.

PREVAILING WAGE & DAVIS BACON:

The Project is a public works project as defined in ORS 279C. Oregon Prevailing Wage Rates and Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will apply for this Project. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of those statutes.

PRE-BID MEETING:

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday May 21st, 2024 beginning at 1:00 PM at the Owner’s Riverfront Center, 2 E Marine Drive, Boardman, OR 97818. The meeting will include a visit to the Project site where the proposed storage lagoons will be constructed.
