REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: 123-476 Alta Lake State Park Concession Store

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project seeks a vendor at Alta Lake State Park that will sell items related to camping and day use including food, beverage, firewood, minor camping supplies and/or picnicking items. The location of vendor will be in the Concession Building which is in the day-use use area overlooking the swim beach. The contract period will be for up to five years with the possibility of one additional 5-year term. This concession should provide a variety of food and beverage items as well as candy, ice cream, firewood, bagged ice, beach appropriate toys and other necessities. Concessionaire may also choose to rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards from this location.

The interior retail space is approximately 300 square feet. There is a back room that can be used as storage. It also has a small kitchenette area in the back. The outside area has space for an ice machine and a grassy area for picnic tables. Vendor must provide their own display furniture, refrigeration equipment, etc. Vendor is responsible for their own utilities. Utilities consist of electrical and phone.

EXPECTED TIME PERIOD FOR CONTRACT: The contract period will be for up to five years with the possibility of one additional five-year extension.

BIDDER ELIGIBILITY: This procurement is open to those Bidders that satisfy the minimum qualifications stated herein and that are available for work in Washington State.
