RFP 123-499 Fisk Property Health Thinning Harvesting

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to procure the services of a qualified harvesters, logging firms, operators of logging equipment or any firms, businesses, or individuals to perform forest health thinning work on 272 acres at Fisk Property State Park. The site is located on N South Bank Road in west Spokane County along the Spokane River. From HWY 291 & W Charles Road, continue west on W Charles Road for 5.0 miles. Turn right (north) onto N South Bank Road and continue for 8.0 miles to the property.

BIDDER ELIGIBILITY: Solicitations will be accepted and considered from all bidders capable of meeting the sale requirements using groundbased conventional logging methods.

PERDIO OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance of any contract(s) resulting from this RFP will be determined upon evaluation of the proposal and will span a period of no less than three months scheduled between April 2023, and October 15, 2023. WSPRC reserves the right to shut down operations to prevent unacceptable damage to WSPRC resources. Thereafter, via mutual negotiation, WSPRC and the Bidder may extend the contract for other periods of time up to a total duration of five years.
