Equal Opportunity. It is Community Transit’s goal to increase the participation of small and women or minority owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, in its contracting and procurement programs. SBE/DBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
While the Agency does not have any preference or set aside programs in place, it is committed to a policy of equitable participation for these firms. The SBE Goal established for this Project is part of Community Transit’s SBE Plan for its Swift BRT Orange Line, and the Agency’s goal for DBE participation is a race and gender-neutral overall goal and not a contract goal.
