Highmark Concrete Contractors (HCC) is requesting quotes from Subcontractors and Suppliers for the following project:

Project Duration: 580 Calendar Days
Special Schedule Consideration: Given the allowable in-water work window for this project it is anticipated that work will commence in the spring of 2025 with in-water work starting no sooner than 7/15/2025. All Subcontractors/Suppliers to bid accordingly.

Project Description: The Special Projects Branch of the Seattle District Contracting Division, U.S. Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract to repair Barnes Bridge (J84004), located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Lewis-Main, WA in accordance with the contract, contract specifications, Statement of Work (SOW), and identified drawings. Work shall include, but not be limited to, demolition, earthwork and embankments, bridge foundation and superstructure, roadwork, rerouting of JBLM telecommunications by installing new fiber optic cable pathways, private utility coordination and/or relocation, traffic signal, signing, preparation or record drawings, inspection load rating, analysis seeding and planting. Additional work shall include, but not be limited to, export of excess soil, demonstration of test pile, pile driving, traffic control, landscaping, HMA paving, channelization and signage, PFAS and/or Heavy Metal and/or Petroleum Contaminated Soil Disposal, PFAS Groundwater Treatment and Testing, survey, and material supply.
Subcontractor/Supplier Opportunities Include (but are not limited to): clearing & grubbing, erosion control, HMA paving, planing, channelization/striping, landscaping, hauling, signage, rebar supply & installation, hydro seeding, guardrails, traffic barriers, fencing, block retaining walls, dewatering, water treatment, electrical, traffic control, survey, material testing and quality control/assurance, and shaft drilling. As well as the supply of ready-mix concrete, pipe/utilities, aggregate, and disposal.
