WorkForce Central is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify and select one or more qualified subrecipients to provide Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I services to young adults in Pierce County, WA, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.

WIOA Title I Young Adult services assist young adults who experience challenges accessing or completing post-secondary training or education or securing employment.  Services include career exploration, training and education, work experiences, wraparound and supportive services, and employment follow-up, with the ultimate goal of sustainable career pathways and living wage jobs.

WorkForce Central estimates up to $1 million will be awarded to provide WIOA Title I Young Adult Services.
