Project Description:
Snohomish County will complete a seismic retrofit of Larson Road Bridge #101. Larson Road Bridge #101 was built in 1962 and is a two lane 304-foot long three span bridge that carries Larson Road over the South Lough Stillaguamish River east of the Silvana community. Larson Road is classified as a Minor Collector Rural Road with an ADT of 2979 for 2022. The bridge is on a seismic lifeline route. This project is funded by Federal Highway Administration administered under Washington State Department of Transportation Local Programs.
Estimated start date: September 20, 2024, and end date December 31, 2026
Scope and Nature of the project: The Department of Public Works seeks to hire a consulting team to provide the following:
- Review of seismic analysis and concept design report
- Perform engineering to evaluate the seismic retrofit requirements, refine and develop alternative design concepts.
- Review, compare the preferred alternatives.
- Bridge structure design and engineering for seismic retrofit
- PS&E through 100% complete design
- Field investigation
- Drawing and permit support
- Bid Support
- Additional services as listed in the RFQ document.
